it Seems like it would Just be Fallout 3 all over again.. with some casinos and some diferant quests.... Dont get me Wrong im A very big Fan of fallout 1,2, and 3 and ill probley get vegas too... But i just wanna see

I believe that Fallout New Vegas will be pretty cool. Judging from how well Bethesda does their games (Oblivion, and Fallout series) they'll probably do a really good job.

i just made a forum about this in gaming section. but maybe drakortha may make a serious on it. we will just have to wait and see.

All I can say is, I will have to see and play Vegas before I have an opinion on it. But I am looking forward to it.

Also, Bethesda is NOT making Vegas, the team that were originally to make Fallout 3, Black Isle Studios, is making it.

i think they should have just made it a add on, like say in mother ship zeta the ship beams you to vegas, and you have to find parts to a plane or some vehicle to get back to dc as part of the main quest, with mini quest of course, but then you would have to get zeta to i suppose. just sayin thoguh

Obsidian Entertainment/Black Isles who is making the game.

Who in the past made gems like Planescape torment..

But reccently has made the worst games that call themselves RPGS I have played like KotOR 2, and NWN 2.

I am afraid of what they will do to it. With Neverwinter Nights, they had a very good system that could have just used a bit of touching up to do. But obsidian just tossed it out of the window and made a big bugged system, which isn't as unplayable as it was, through patches and expansions but it is still pretty horrible. And the graphics weren't even that good in NWN2, they were very awkward and it seemed they were trying to make a good looking game, but.. failed.

If Obsidian(Which is the company that is making Fallout New Vegas. Founded by the makers of Fallout 1 and 2) has any witt, they will do this

Make a game that is closely similar to Fallout 3, fix any kind of downside that Fallout 3 had, make sure NOT to recycle any textures. And make it very vast, very explorative, exploitable, all the good stuff; and make sure everything has a reason to being somewhere. We'll just have to wait and see.

welll i think that new vegas will be the same concept like fallout 3, but i think bethesda will make new weapons and new story and change the experince! i also think that they will put in more random encounters! but i hope it wont be extacly the same as fallout 3 with just a different place and quests!

Bethesda isn't making it, the original company is, so chances are, it will be just like the older Fallout games, which is a no-go for people who liked the FPS add-on to the gameplay, I do hope that BIS will take effect with the FPS genre and use the same engine. as Bethesda brought many new fans to the game series with their 'unique' gameplay from the older games.

i think itll be pretty awsome more close combat is wat im think, also i think that there might be cars and stuff just kinda allways imagined them using stuff like the prowler off of halo 3
