Fallout Role Play?

This is just a topic that I've been wondering about. When should we start a Role Play of Fallout 3 or DC Chronicles of our own story. If anyone has any suggestions on what would make a good Role Play on here, just message here and I'll reply as soon as I can.

Re: Fallout Role Play?

I don't know. Sounds like a good idea but I see two problems:

1) There's not enough people on here that may want to do roleplaying.

2) Timezone issues. For instance if I'm in the US and someone else is in Australia, how can we guarantee both people could roleplay without posting like one post per 12 hours or so.

Thanks you two for your suggestions and your "downs". And yes, I understand the problem. And I shall work on it as we speak.

There's actually a Fallout RP section on the bethsoft forums.

Re: Fallout Role Play?

No one role plays here? Hah, I'm the role play KING.

Stop laughing at your king!

Anywho, I love the idea. I'd join a Fallout role play for sure. In fact, I made one on another site that I could bring here since it died pretty quickly.

Re: Fallout Role Play?

I love decent, mature roleplay, anything which is about making good roleplay using your HEAD rather than your WEAPON is always welcome for me.

If you are talking about making a RP group by using Fallout, or just talk about it.

Whatver it is if there is possible to play multiplayer in fallout and RP with it then yes yes.

Re: Fallout Role Play?

I just want to thank you all for the feedback on this. Plus I have seen some with the same of less people. Yet if we try, we can make it work. Now for the second reason I wrote this. I want you all to give me a story on how (maybe) this Role Play will start. Thank you, and I'll reply to you all soon. -X

Re: Fallout Role Play?

Alright, let me dig out my old plot of Vault 113. This was supposed to take place in Washington D.C., but that location could easily be changed.

Plot:

Not all of the vaults were meant to save humanity. Did you know that? Of all 122 vaults, only about eight of them were supposed to work correctly and save the people within. The rest were experiments. Horrible things happened in some vaults, from simply having little food to having drugs pumping into the air. The eight “control” vaults were spread across America, and all opened as scheduled and helped repopulate the planet. Vault 113, however, was not a control vault. No, this was one of the worst vaults. It was to see how long people could live if half the vault was populated by criminals and mental asylum patients. Most people would not move into a vault with those people inside, but it was assured that they were simply there because they had paid to get in, and would be under heavy lockdown.

This was a lie.

A few years after the bombs fell in 2077, the door locking mechanism on these vault security cells released, and these madmen were released unto the vault. Without anyone wondering why, the armory was also located close to the holding cells, and as the holding cells opened, so did the armory.

Scientists for Vault-Tech designed the locks to fail in 2080. They predicted that the criminals and mental patients would kill all of the normal citizens within a few days, and then war would break out between them slowly. The vault was supposed to be completely destroyed by 2082.

But this was not to be.

One brave man, Jonathon Lucas, the head of the security team for vault 113, fought his way to the armory and brought back, with several men enough weapons for the citizens to hold out.

In that way, the vault split. The criminal half and the citizen half were on either side of the vault, with similar weapons and defenses, there has been a war within vault 113 for one hundred ninety three years. Since then, both sides have survived, breeding for more soldiers, and the war has been a stalemate for all the years. The citizens have been trying to get past the criminals for all the years to the Vault 113 entrance to escape without avail, and the criminals, with no scientist on their side, are unable to open the vault door, and so this vault remained, stuck in a war the was seemingly endless, with an enemy that had as much of a place to go as you.

Re: Fallout Role Play?

The big thing that I would like to see is what happened in any other county after the bombs droped. Like Russia, would Chernobyl be a paradises in the post nuked landscape? With vegetation every where like Oasis.

Re: Fallout Role Play?

Well here's what's going to happen, Ill start a charcter bio up, then you I'll start a new topic with that on it. So then once you get your charcter down, we will either all start our own story, or just go on the same plot-line. It should be up soon. Thank you all for your support on this! And the Role Play will start soon :)

Re: Fallout Role Play?

Alright all, I have the rules and details all down and set! The role play will be in another poll, so you all get set. The story wont necessarily be based around the DC Chronicles, but you all get to make your own, so get out there, find that poll, and have fun! :)
