Greetings everyone. I'm sure a few people here saw my last post about how I was going to be working on a machinima series of my own within Fallout 3. Well, lucky for everyone, that's still true. I'm sure I brought up many other times that the series will take place parallel to the events of D.C. Chronicles. Adding onto that thought, I am definitely going to be spreading into Fallout New Vegas and may even bring up many references, or at least a few references, to the "Holy Vault 13". And of course I would want to bring back many nostalgic visuals and moments that made the first two Fallout games great. Might even bring in some Fallout Tactics references too. With my new graphics card I got for Christmas, I hope to be able to use that when I get my dead computer back up and running. When that happens, I will take whatever I learned from Drakortha's tutorials and apply that to my projects. My question to people here is....should I keep my idea of a parallel series or should it be in my own universe? Note that the parallel one will only have a few references to Grafton, but nothing too over the top. It will be its own series ofcourse, but with Drak's permission I would like to pull that off, so that way people will know I'm not ripping him off and stuff. Which I would never do anyways.

My question to Drakortha: Would you like to help, as in a joint operation? Or? Anyways, later everyone. Hope you guys think the idea's decent.

When I get my gaming comp back up, I already am listing a few music video ideas for atmospheric Fallout 3/NV vids.

Update for everyone. I should be getting a new power supply in SOON. Once I get it into my computer, I can determine whether or not it was only the power supply needing replacement. IF it is only the power supply, then I am good. Otherwise, I am screwed until I get more parts.

My gaming rig originally had an Nvidia 6600 in it. Thankfully, that isn't fried. BUT, on Christmas I got a new Nvidia card (don't worry, this isn't what fried my power supply, it was my own damned fault with an ATI P.O.S.). An Nvidia 8400GS, which should run Fallout 3 and New Vegas MUCH better than my 6600 ever did, and at better settings too! So I'm going to be more up to date regarding graphics, even though the 8400GS is still not completely 'new' or 'top of the line', but it is at least better.

So, 1 Gig of RAM total. A 500w Power Supply. And an Nvidia GeForce 8400GS. Seem like a decent combo there?

If I DO manage to get back up and running, expect me to be working on machininmas out the yin-yang! First is gonna be a few mood pieces with some music...showing off atmosphere, maybe some combat. And then perhaps I can start on a series. Going to be filming in the following games: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout New Vegas. Those are what's going to be my primary games for machinima for awhile. With FO3 and FONV, I want to recapture a lot of the classic stuff that we loved from FO1 and FO2 and maybe some FO: Tactics if people here like that too. Classic music, classic references, classic items, classic atmosphere, but a newer engine. For Oblivion, well... I'll need some ideas there. Maybe I can partner up with Avenged Outcast and help out with Stranded (if he wants me to. Do you want me to help out with anything, AO? lol).

Hah. Believe me, I'm looking forward too for end results of my ideas, as well as my gaming rig's performance once it gets back up. One machinima video I want to definitely make is concentrating on life in the Vaults, or lack thereof for most of them. For FO3 going to film all those Vaults, and FONV, gonna film all the Vaults there too. That's definitely one idea I want to do. Maybe will combine my footage from both games, since they're on the same engine and virtually have the same assets/looks.

That sounds like a real good idea, I've seen a lot of survivor stuff on for a Fallout Machininima, so yours sounds very welcoming and entertaining. I"m looking forward to something like this. Just remember to take your time.

One more idea to throw out there. Music video to the song "Atom and Evil" by the Golden Gate Quartet. The name itself is pretty self-explanatory. Imagery is going to be key here. Probably going to film this one in FO3 and have it involve the quest for Mr. Burke and Tenpenny regarding the "Power of Atom" quest.

Also might do a music video to "Bad to the Bone" by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. Set to a sequence of every Bad Karma and Evil thing the player can do. And I'll make it look badass. Just an idea here. If you want to help with ideas guys, lemme know. Mainly gonna do mood pieces and music videos to start out with before I get into any series. I want to make these look as professional as possible, even if they're gonna be my first attempts at serious stuff. So any console command tips would be appreciated, Drakortha. Of course not to compete with anything you do. And if you're willing to put anything I make on the videos section, Drakortha, that would be awesome, but I feel that maybe too much to ask. Seems like just a dream to me there. I'll let ya know when I get anything done. You two will be the first to know.
