Writing a Script Tips...?

Alright I finally have me some voice actors and have a story set out for my Machinima, but I really have no expereince writing a script. Could someone give me some tips on how one should properly be done and what she be in it besides the lines, of course. It would be greatly appreciated.

Make what they say sound real and natural try and think of what you would say in that situation, and always make your characters relatable if they seem like robots no one will care about them or anything that happens to them because they can not connect with them.

Except for Robots. Robots would be able to 'connect' with them. :D Sorry, that was bad. But yeah, I myself suck at writing scripts, but what I've adopted over the years is to make the dialogue sound like natural speech. Things I would say during a given situation, etc etc. You could also ask friends what they would say in, "Such and such" situations, to get more than one view, so you can have multiple people that viewers can relate to. The thing about machinima (with voice actors) is that you want people to feel immersed in the story. Have people actually crying in a sad situation, etc, etc. There are multiple machinimas I've watched that actually made me cry, believe it or not....or I guess I'm just a wuss, but either way, you know what I mean. :)

It's not that I think I suck at writing, I just don't know how to properly write one. Like set it up and stuff.

Oh like....the format? Like, [EXT. BISON STEVE, PRIMM - MIDDAY]?

I personally use my own style format for writing scripts, but if you're looking for overall setup/formatting: http://www.scriptologist.com/Magazine/Formatting/formatting.html

I'm sorry if I misunderstand what you mean, man. Like how to set it up properly? What goes where in a script, etc? I hope I'm providing a good answer.

Personally, I suck at writing scripts. Mainly because my format doesn't meet up to the basic standards. I don't do things like: EXT - BISON STEVE, PRIMM - MIDDAY.]. I probably should, though.
