Re: My Machinima Remake Preview
Think nothing of it. I usually like a lot of things, this being one of them. I guess I'm easily amazed and wow'd, but I dunno. But it's what I truly think, so I suppose you love the honesty.
Once I get my gaming machine back up, I'm gonna try and go full fledged with filming in Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas. I just think it's time I get more serious with machinima, thus why I made a couple of threads about my work. One of which asks the community what they think of my ideas and, well, the other one showing off my main project I'm going for. And hey...you remind me so much of myself. Biased against their own work, but want people to say what they honestly think? Yeah. I have a lot of things I need to work on myself regarding self-improvement. Such as, my camera angles and editing maybe good or at least decent (even though I still don't like my stuff), but my execution getting into actually filming it is lacking. I say I should get into my games to film, but I put them off constantly and a month later I finally do it. And I also need to work on getting more familiar with the engines I'm working with. Like with filming my first FO3 machinima, "Annoying Man Makes A Friend", I only had two NPCs looking at each other. No real emotion. And Sticky 'talking' didn't really look all that convincing. There are so many things I could've done well that I half-assed on or learned to do, before doing that video. Instead of merely having Sticky look at a Deathclaw, I could have learned NPC movement in the G.E.C.K. and have him annoy the Deathclaw to, well, death...or Sticky's death....whatever. Point is, I could've delivered the machinima better. Maybe I should remake it now that I have a few more things I can use?
Also, at the thing regarding your channel, ah, well...it's still very nice looking regardless. All I have for my channel's background is the Vault 101 door. That's about it. Wish it were a Vault 13 door, though. Or an unhinged, lying on the ground Vault 15 door with a creepy worn out vault entrance.
Also regarding my acting. Thank you. I'm only on his mailing list, that's about it. I'm half tempted of sending him some random lines for no reason. I think I might do that in a few.
