After issues with our emailing process we decided to use an alternative membership program. With this program it's as simple as signing up to www.drakortha.info and then auditioning. Not only is this a more seamless way for you to receive Voice Acting work, but it also keeps your identity and contact details secure. Here are the steps you must take in order to become a Voice Actor at Drakortha Productions,
First, create a membership on this website. During the sign up process you will be asked if you'd like to give us permission to email you. Please allow this so that we can email you with voice acting roles in the future.
Congratulations! As a member you will now have access to our forums under the community tab. But before you can join the Voice Acting group on the website you must audition. In your first audition email its important that you also include your new username so we know how to identify you on the website.
Simple. After reading the above information, send an email with a sample of your voice to drakorthavoicecasting@gmail.com. Remember to include your new website username in this email.
Here is your first audition line:
"Life in the vault... What is there to say about it? It's clean, organized, but man is it boring"
""
Feel free to introduce yourself in the audition as well.
If accepted, you will be added to the Voice Acting group on the website. When there are available roles in the DC Chronicles or other Machinima's you'll get an email in your inbox. Inside there may be information on the available roles, such as backgrounds on characters, names, and scenes he/she might be involved in. It will also include a highlighted line which you will have to record and send back to us. In most cases though we can review your original audition to see if you're suitable for the role. It's important that you keep your original audition somewhere on your HDD just in case we no longer have it in our archive.
After this you may or may not be chosen for a role. Being chosen for a role is determined by 3 things;
1. Vocal Talent
2. Microphone Quality
3. Suitable Voice for that character
The 3rd is the most important. If you are not chosen for a role please do not feel offended. We base our decisions on who's voice fits what character. Just have some patience your character will come along eventually
Also make sure you have a good sounding microphone. A lot of people apply and they have fantastic vocal talent but we have to turn them down because their microphones are no good. Please check it before auditioning.
Thank you.
